A bizarre little meme
Ok, there have been lots of list-style favourite stuff memes but this one’s different. Courtesy of United Irelander who tagged me, it involves a bit of trawling through the archives. It works like this:
- Search your blog archive
- Find your 23rd post
- Find the fifth sentence - this is apparently meant to say something about you.
- Post the text of the sentence in your blog along with these instructions
- Tag five people to do the same
On that basis, my 23rd post was a rant about Malcolm ‘Mr. Potatohead’ Glazer buying United. The fifth sentence is :
“The bid is in the region of 1.5 billion euro and handily enough, he can absorb three million quid’s worth of his debt into this.
Well that doesn’t say much about me other than I hate greedy guts Glazer. I wonder if it’s a coincidence that United’s form has been so patchy under the football-clueless money man.

I couldn’t access three of the listed blogsites. Reason: ISPs in China don’t accept anything with blogspot in the web address. A relative who has a blogspot site sometimes emails me extracts of village news and gossip from it as an attached PDF file. Now there’s chinese chequers for you!
