So now it’s Celtic?

God bless Roy Keane’s knees. According to today’s Guardian, Keane is about to sign an 18-month contract with Celtic. In doing so, he will take a massive weekly pay cut (of £70,000) but will still become the highest paid player in Celtic’s history according to The BBC because Denis Desmond is prepared to subsidise his £20,000 wages. So prepare to see Roy unveiled in the green and white hoops in the next couple of days.

Roll on the first Old Firm game in February at Ibrox.

I think a friend of mine who is a lifelong and devoted Celtic supporter, but also part-time Keane detractor summed it up beautifully when he said to me “Now he’s _our_ leg breaker”.
