Blog Awards - last chance to vote before Damien turns in to Max Clilfford

Today is the last day to vote in the Irish Blog Awards. I’m nominated in three categories and toyed with the idea of blatantly including a blog awards banner here but thanks to my confounded un-techieness, I didn’t know how to. Colm Bracken has gone one further with his charming, but shameless electioneering but he certainly deserves your vote.

Personally, I blame Damien Mulley for kicking off this unbridled vote pimping frenzy. He has, in fact, turned in to Max Clifford. Not only is he encouraging blog nominees to actively tout for more votes to get the voting numbers up past 1,000, he is dangling fancy phone carrots to the voting public. So whoever you support, go and vote now - you know you want to.

Update: Myself and Rick O’Shea will be talking about blogging and the awards on Jenny Huston’s new show The Snug this Sunday at 7pm on RTE 2FM.
