Lionel Shriver in Dublin

lionelThe author of one of my recent book haul books is in Dublin next week. Lionel Shriver, author of the 2005 Orange Prize winning novel We Need To Talk About Kevin will be reading from and discussing her new book Double Fault on Wednesday 26th April @ 7.00 p.m at Rathmines Library. On the same night, which is a pity, Dr. Anthony Roche who was one of my English lecturers in UCD, will be giving a public lecture as part of the Beckett Centenary Festival, entitled ‘Why did Waiting for Godot revolutionise world theatre?’ It takes place at the Dublin City Library & Archive, 138-144 Pearse St., Dublin 2 on Wednesday April 26th @ 7pm.
