Who wants Kraftwerk’s vocoder?
Ok, I’m not a music equipment geek like himself (except for my avaricious hankering for a xylophone) but Kraftwerk fans and music nerds alike will no doubt be getting their robot moves in a muddle over something Music Thing spotted on ebay.
Yes, it’s a vocoder formerly owned by Kraftwerk. Not just any ol’ vocoder though. The one that Ralf and Florian used to record the intro to Autobahn on. The ebay photos include it in a studio shot on the artwork for Kraftwerk’s 1973 album, Ralf and Florian.

Sounds reasonable compared to the 150 million some guy just paid for 1 painting by an unknown artist. How many starving children can you feed for that?
