MCD, Oxegen and boards.ie
Tuppenceworth takes up the story of MCD, Oxegen and libel. Even though the Irish Independent published an article last weekend entitled “How we feared for our lives at Oxegen . . . festival-goers relive their nightmare” and various other sources have reported on the alleged downside of the festival, it seems that boards.ie has received a letter from MCD’s solicitors for allowing discussion of the topic on their forums. John Breslin who runs the forum has taken the decision to completely ban any discussion of MCD, its gigs and its venues for one week.

I wonder if Tony O’Reilly will get a similar letter after his publication’s article?

I once knew a guy called Justin Green. I should stress I don’t mean the Justin Green from MCD. Anyway, this Justin Green was an absolute cuntfaced cocksucker.
He had the personality of a dead goat. Even if your sister was handicapped you wouldn’t let him marry her.
Yes, Justin Green was a fucking cunt with all the humour of Brendan Grace and the body odour of a wombat.
It certainly wasn’t Justin Green from MCD though.

I will just clarify that all administrators on boards.ie (not me alone) agreed to block discussion of MCD and its events until the situation calms down.

interesting quote in the irish times about MCD having already decided to pull down the board until Nov - pity they didnt advertise that fact in advance
