Another Electric Picnic clash: I blame Staunton
Q: What do Bloc Party, Belle & Sebastian, DJ Shadow, Sparks, Gang of Four, Radio Soulwax, Yo La Tengo, Lou Rhodes from Lamb and the Unabombers have in common?
A: They all clash with the Ireland v Germany European Championship qualifier which kicks off at 7.45pm. Oh the inhumanity.
Does anyone know if there will be a big screen up, or least somewhere to watch it?

However, depending on how bad the kicking we get is, I might just ditch that, avoid the wave of depression afterwards, and just go to one or two of the acts above!!

I had a choice to make when I twigged this would happen ages back. I picked Stuttgart. Two weeks ago I thought I’d made one of the worst decisions in ages. Happy enough now though…
