I'm certain they meant Danny de Vito! Rang my Auntie in Dublin 8, asked her the same question and that's exactly what she answered!

Have you heard the urban tail about ywo kids in a No 2 bus in Cork?
Very late at night (OK last bus at 12) but a friedn and I actually overheard thbis in Cork in 1985.
" John Do ya love me?"
"Whatchamean do I loves ya,,....

,.... sure don't I buy ya chips and don't I fla ya................. sure of course I loves ya!"

Self-evident Wha?
Years later in Dublin I heard this told as an apocryphal tale, and I was almost embarrassed to say I was actually there when it happened. As was Miriam O Callaghan, (NO NOT THAT WAn!)The press oficer for the Leader of the Fine Gael opposition,

Liam, if it isn't - it should be. Just heard the Warlords are releasing a double A-side single of 'Old Women with Broadband'/'Monster Voice' on
<a href ="http://www.trustmeiamathief.com" target="_blank">Trust Me I'm a Thief</a>. It's out September 15th.

Alex, that's exactly how I heard it. It was as they were referring to some living, breathing chap, hence my curiosity. Maybe he's the latest Dublin criminal with a nickname, you know, like the Monk, the Viper etc.

I certainly know who PP is because an old lady who used to live near the South Circular has some rare relic with a piece of his bone in it. When the docs couldn't find out what was wrong with my hip years ago, my mother dragged me to see her so I could blessed by it.

Overheard in Dublin is priceless, although, I think a lot of people make up the submissions because some are duplicates of really old gags.
