I thought Walk the Line was quite a lazy film, as biopics go. It was so damn formulaic and just borrowed the whole template of <i>Ray</i> and swapped blues for country. I'm holding out to see if Kermode's famous theory about <i>Alien</i> pops up (ie that the film isn't about Aliens at all, but about male fear of childbirth!)
