Though the tone of the talk was (of course) whimsical and comic, it didn't stop some rather ‘eccentric’ gentleman in the audience asking an earnest, long-winded (and impossible to follow) question about pyramids on the moon (or some such). Ronson batted it away tactfully by saying that yer man's theory MIGHT have some validity but that he'd need to have all the facts before him etc. The eccentric guy looked a bit crestfallen. He'd obviously come along to hear "conspiracy expert" Jon Ronson tell us FACTS about Masonic-alien-bankers (etc) that we could integrate into our belief systems. All we got were a sequence of amusing anecdotes and observations. What a rip off! I’ve seen him before (Winchester, 2000) and he was most entertaining.
