2007 Irish Blog Awards - Longlist announced
Damien and Jason have been working like lunatics and finally the 2007 Irish Blog Awards longlist has been announced. The Sigla Blog is delighted to be long-listed for Best Arts & Culture Blog and Best Music Blog (which Niall should deservedly win).
If you’d like to see Sigla on the shortlist, head on over and fill in the voting form. Voting closes this Friday, February 16th, at 5pm. After that the longlist becomes a shortlist of five (I think?) and judges will get down to deliberating on the winners. The science bit: You don’t have to be a) Irish or b) a blogger to vote, but you can only vote once in each category.

Was very surprpised to see no Sigla in the “Best Blog” list. Not right. Maybe it had something to do with the nomination complications. Boooo. Glad to be sitting beside you on the “Arts/Culture” bus again though.
