Nora, the piano-playing cat

Does this qualify as a music post? My brother sent this to cheer me up earlier and this musical puss is amazing. Wait for the duet bit later on - Disco Fred has been sitting beside me all a-quiver watching it. Poor little mutt nearly fell off the couch at the sight of a feline Liberace. Or Depussy… (sorry, couldn’t resist). I’m seriously worried about his Youtube addiction. He loves videos of talking animals, dogs swimming, that sort of thing…

Awww, too cute. I showed this to the bigger of the cats. He deemed it most unsuitable behaviour for a cat. He has gone off to restore the natural balance of things by murdering something.

Loved the pics of your collective cat clan earlier. Super cute. Can your cats see stuff on TV? Fredser goes mental at horse-racing, nature programmes, the background animal/jungle noises on Lost.

The one-eyed one has no sense of depth so he used to try chase the ball on screen when football was playing, but these days they are all to ‘wise’ to bother with such things. He did however spend a few days just running up and down a flight of stairs and cheeping to himself.*

    *shakes head.

Awww, so cute! More cats playing musical instruments and the world will be a better place! Funnily enough one of my cats only becomes fascinated by the television when it’s showing CGI animals - Walking with Dinosaurs, that sort of thing. Wonder why that it?

Aphrodite, given all the music and musical instruments around our house, I have high hopes Fred one day mastering the bongos or some percussion instrument.

He’s also a sucker for CGI and cartoons. ‘Topcat’ drove him mad once, ditto the Andrex puppy and he always charges at the telly when that black and white catfood ad featuring Felix the cat comes on.

I don’t know about cats, but apparently it’s only certain breeds of dogs that can see the telly. Smaller ones like terriers, jack russells etc.
