Irish bloggers on TV: “like the time The Sex Pistols were interviewed by Bill Grundy!”*
Fair play to RTE’s Seoige & O’Shea for allowing three bloggers (myself, Simon and Una to talk about blogging and next week’s Irish Blog Awards. Red Mum obligingly cogged the footage off the telly and put it on youtube, which you can see here: That clip is about half the interview, but if you’re near a TV this morning, the show is repeated this at 9.30am and we’re on about 10 minutes from the end. Seems like a decent enough job considering Simon had the distraction of his wife almost going into labour today, poor Una was dying of the flu and the whole pregnancy-tiredness-that-creeps-up-like-narcolepsy meant I nearly fell asleep in make-up and struggled to stay awake most of the afternoon.

so wierd to see people talking about blogging on the telly, but sure you’re all so normal - people will start to think bloggers aren’t geeky at all - or all men. good stuff!

Hi Sinead. Sitting here ‘working’ from home when I read this post. Popped the TV on at the exact moment that the O’Shea bloke introduced you.
Spooky.
