Sick note: Part Deux and new blogs

Right, wrist agony is not going away so the blog has to go on the backburner for a few days. It’s not getting better and one-handed typing is driving me mad. Better listen to the doc and rest for a few days…

While there’s nothing doing around here, there are lots of new blogs I’ve discovered - some new, some I’d just missed - since returning to blogging that I really like, so be sure to check out the following: The Red Scrapbook, Emerging Writer, Eoin Purcell, Two Wheels on my Wagon, Dante and the Lobster, Shane Hegarty’s Present Tense, Rapture Ponies and The Newish Journalism. Special mention goes to three in particular: Nadine O’Regan, arts journo with the Business Post and presenter of the very fine Kiosk on Phantom FM has started blogging; and two mysterious types who usually work in music PR have started blogs at I Prefer the Obscure Remix and Shapes and Shadows.

Hopefully be back soon…

Ooh, thanks for the mention. Hope your wrist pain eases up soon- but that in the meantime you’ll be reading, listening to and seeing loads that you can blog about later.

Maybe one of the staff over at Experimental Audio studio’s could whip you up a newfangled voice recognition type thingy?
