Attack of the Killer, er, Vagina
Every time there’s a mention of the film Teeth, I can’t wait to see it. If you haven’t heard about it, New York Magazine sums it up as the story of “Dawn, a high-school student with a fanged, carnivorous vagina that exacts bloody revenge on all males who dare go near it.” Now the magazine has published a Ten Movie Vaginas Even Scarier Than the One in ‘Teeth’ list. Topping the list? The pit of Sarlaac in Return of the Jedi.
Directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein (son of pop-artist Roy), imagine the fun you’d have bringing a guy to see it on a first date? If the premise all sounds a bit too far-fetched, it’s not entirely so. The myth of Vagina Dentata has been around for a long time…
