2008 Irish Blog Awards longlists
Amid the hundreds of blogs longlisted for this year’s Irish Blog Awards, this blog is humbled to be nominated in five categories: Best Arts and Culture blog, Best Music Blog, Best Blog, Best Blog by a Journalist and - very surprised by this one - Best Blog Post for this post.
Thank you, whoever you good people are.
Like any awards, there are usually some omissions and I am very surprised not to see Confessions of a Film Critic in any category, and although Crime Always Pays got a couple of nods, it’s glaringly absent from the Best Arts & Culture blog.
Be sure and check both of them out while you’re trawling around the very long longlists.

Congratulations Sinead, you are most definitely deserving of your 5 nominations.
I have to admit, I have yet to mention those two blogs, but once I hit submit, I will pop over to them right away. I love discovering new (to me) blogs
