It’s here…
The postman was quite late arriving yesterday, but it’s finally arrived. Yes, Twenty’s Order of the Phoenix Park, the first novel to be published by an Irish blogger.
This bit made me laugh out loud “Tom looked down and saw the hole in his Che Guevara T-shirt. As a veteran of the turf wars between the punks, the mods and the Val Doonican fans during his time in London, he’d seen people gut shot before. It was a slow and painful way to die. Worse than being starved to death in a room filled with Phil Collins music while being rimmed by a cat.”
Read the prologue here:

Was in Hughes and Hughes in Omni (Santry, Dublin for those unfamiliar) yesterday and spotted it in the “Irish Interest” section.
A friend of mine was with me who wouldn’t be a blog fan (that I know of) and when I commented on it he said “is it any good? I’ve heard a lot about him.”
So obviously the talk has extended beyond our wee circle, which is exactly what Twenty needs.
