Sinéad is a journalist, radio contributor and occasional TV pundit. She reviews music for The Ticket in The Irish Times and her work regularly features in the Evening Herald, The Sunday Business Post, The Irish Daily Mail and State Magazine. Previously she has written for U Magazine, Food and Wine Magazine, Village, Foggy Notions, Capital, RTE.ie and various websites. Formerly the editor of online arts and politics magazine Sigla, she is also a co-founder of the book site Bibliofemme. She loves music, film, books, writing, her dog Disco Fred and is a lifelong Manchester United fan. Her biggest ambition is to own a xylophone and start that book she keeps threatening to write. As of June 2007, she is juggling work and motherhood.
The Sigla Blog has won Best Arts and Culture Blog at the 2006, 2007 and 2008 Irish Blog Awards. It was also shortlisted for Best Music Blog at the 2007 Irish Blog Awards.
